Phytoplankton is the inspiration behind Rossinavi’s green philosophy.

This pursuit of eco-sustainability is driven by a desire to respect and conserve the ocean environment. Both Rossinavi’s technological innovations and their green philosophy are inspired by phytoplankton, a small marine algae that converts sunlight into energy and provides more than half of the Earth’s annual oxygen production. This is to remind us that it does not take an oak tree to make a difference. It takes quantity. And Rossinavi cares deeply about getting people to embrace this green state of mind. Similarly, the design of the yacht’s exterior and interior is inspired by ocean waves and features a fluidity that harmonises with nature. The curved lines and reflective surfaces of the yacht’s exterior are continued throughout the organic interior, blurring the boundaries between ship and sea. The main deck cockpit looks like a patio, and its walls and ceiling are slightly curved to create a sense of organic continuity that opens up to a view of the water. Going down the stairs to the swim platform, however, the area is even more open, as the lack of walls and ceiling create a direct connection with the sea.

Three levels of solar panels, seamlessly integrated into the design, and a capacious battery pack. An artificial intelligence driven control centre monitors energy consumption and battery status, plus it keeps track of the environmental impact, recommending eco-sustainable actions. In a daily travel scenario, Oneiric can cruise in full-electric mode, with zero emissions, up to 100% of the time. During a transatlantic crossing, Oneiric can be in full-electric mode 70% of the time. In the transatlantic scenario, the Oneiric would save around 40 tonnes of CO2 compared to a conventionally powered yacht. The solar panels, always active during daylight hours, are also designed to be used during inactivity of the catamaran. When the vessel is moored it can feed a private villa. The multihulls are more energy-efficient than a conventional monohull yacht, due to their weight distribution and the hulls’ length-to-width ratio that provide a better hydrodynamic efficiency.
This technology has been studied over different distances and the result is that on a daily trip, navigation can be done in full-electric mode.
Instead, over the course of a transatlantic crossing, the catamaran can spend more than 70% of the time in full-electric mode and the remaining time in diesel-electric mode.
Technology
Zero
Noise

Zero Noise technology, a Rossinavi must-have, is also installed on board. Thanks to this solution, any intrusive noises on board are 100% isolated and all you will hear is the sea.

This Rossinavi innovation has been installed on board all of our boats for several years. Sound cancellation is already top notch, therefore on an electric boat the isolation will be even more efficient since the electric vessel itself is quite silent. All the guest has to do is to enjoy life at sea.
Interiors
Materials
& Surfaces
The visual and tactile characteristics of the materials for these spaces were chosen and arranged in order to create a clean and minimal environment that accentuates the organic lines of the design. The consideration of weight is crucial to all yacht design, but for Oneiric the lightweight interior materials - many of which are recycled and recyclable - were chosen in order to maximise energy efficiency as well as to optimise performance.

The serene experience on board is auditory as well as visual: the Oneiric full-electric mode is capable of almost completely cancelling out all sounds on board. In addition, the Oneiric takes advantage of the effects of Rossinavi Zero Noise technology. In fact, this technology, a Rossinavi must-have, is also installed on board. Thanks to this solution, any intrusive noises on board are highly isolated and make it possible to hear the sea. This innovation has been installed on board all of the Rossinavi yachts for several years. The sound reduction is already top notch, so on an electric boat the sound isolation will be even more efficient since electric vessles are already quite silent.
